The B525 HD works for me without problems with Skype and other chat clients (incl. Web Browser) both under Win7 64bit and
WinXP 32-bit, absolutely stable and reliable. Without that I had to reinstall drivers consuming.
Autofocus (up to 2 cm in front of webcam), brightness and sound quality is for me at any time more than satisfactory.
The holder / Webcam foot can be individually set, and transport "wrap" to the webcam so that's protected the lens during transport.
The B525 HD Webcam is UVC-compatible and certified for Microsoft Lync and Skype®! (The C525 not HD!)
And therefore, the B525 HD is also recognized under Windows 8 will probably also on Unix / Linux OS, Apple OS systems.
There, the B525 HD could not try.
I would every time the "B" version (B = "Business") prefer the normal version.
And can the "Logitech B525 HD Webcam" fully recommend
