The Switch offered here is loud product details to a TEG S5g version V2.1R with max. 3 watts, rather than the latest version V3.0R with max. 2.75 watts. There may be retailers, already provide the latest version here. I got at least the version V2.1R delivered. Decisive for me but anyway the rest consumption, ie when the switch remains without traffic constantly connected. A first quality characteristic is the consumption of the power supply alone without connected switch with only 0.2 W, as other power supplies consume several watts alone. The switch connected without connections consumes 1.1 W.
The most important value is the operating state when the switch is connected to a network, but no PCs are in operation. Since this unit consumes 1.5 W. This means annual (!) Costs of approximately 3.30 euros, if the switch is connected to the network and remains permanently switched on!
With connected computers (without traffic) are the consumption W W W. Although it is not a PC 2.0W, with two PCs 2.5 with three PCs 2.7 PCs with four 2.8 here to the newest model I highly recommend it.
