Very interesting 48

At first I was surprised by the small thickness of the book. It is quite short, but that does not stop me from devouring it with great pleasure. I finished it in two evenings (by not doing that). It reads very easily, the concepts are expressed very clearly with examples quite concrete. I appreciated this approach of emotions and their explanation. It opened my mind to a new way of thinking about emotions and reactions they cause. The second part, on what to do to get to manage emotions is somewhat succinct and certainly not necessarily obvious to practice (there are less obvious examples of that in the first part) and I think that it will take several readings to get to really integrate that view emotions. But as it is short, there will be no problem to read it again and again. In conclusion: this is a very interesting book even s''il will not have a visible impact on my life everyday. To own and reread from time to time to remember how the emotions and should be allowed to express themselves.
