1. The list of ingredients, as it is written, I find rather little success. Who should use this description depends please? At most to someone who has no idea of the tea, because only black, no further details as Assam, Ceylon, etc. Dajeeling to write I find neither particularly happy of the marketing side yet conclusive enough for a halfway competent buyer. This is also an indication of a not particularly high quality of this product. So you must be a wild mixture of everything possible, whether it introduce country of origin, growing region, variety, plucking as flash 1st, 2nd flash, etc..
2. Therefore, this Rainforest Alliance certification occurs more credible. Man has no reason to imagine it, because geschweigen be able to check the accuracy of these allegations. In which country, to which plantations the announced sustainable tea cultivation was supported, which families and tea pickers were treated by social standards? I am more inclined to believe on the basis of this information, that it is merely window dressing.
3. The list of ingredients includes flavor. In plain English it means that this volatile mix of unknown teas was refined with chemically produced substances. Because it would be the natural aroma, they would have it written on it. That's not the case here. So it's a clear statement of the appropriate quality.
4. The ingredient list includes marigold petals. What for? A classic Earl Grey contains no petals.
5. The pyramid bag and the explanation of the tea leaves have so much space to develop a full aroma as loose tea. This is clearly an invention from the marketing department. With the taste it has nothing to do, no more than the packaging. The individual pyramids are not well packed. On the one hand it is environmentally friendly, on the other hand loses the tea over time more of flavor, which he has always boast not too much.
I have, as usual, the tea brewed with boiling water in my 180 ml cup. I had to wonder about a very light color. The taste after 3 minutes was also rather very mild and slightly dry. Anyway, of course, and did not seem comfortable in front of this Bergamotnote. Stronger the tea will not, even if you can pull it longer, the flavor becomes more intense or barely better.
I have tried it on other days 1-2 times. The first impression was unfortunately how it was.
Conclusion: I would not buy this tea for sure.
