Taste: Sweet molasses, vanilla, light spice, slight hints of bittersweet dark chocolate or coffee. Very gently.
Finish: soft, warming up in the belly, dark, very mild flavor. A soft oak barrel taste remains. The finish is medium for a rum.
But the single-malt barrel, I must confess, I can not be tasted. The Puntacana Tesoro is still a good, very mild rum. You can taste any hint of alcohol sharpness, making it dangerously easy to drink, of course.
