I am now not so much a friend of pop music, this is me very often too shallow and meaningless. Also, most things are too clichéd and often made by the same knitting pattern that is very successful, but is not entitled to sustainability or finesse. There's a lot of kitsch at the start, most of the songs have only a limited "shelf life" and disappeared after a few weeks off the charts and the memory. For this reason, "Right place, right time" a very refreshing exception. The songs are very varied and not made by the conventional "Pop-knit" - I like this album although I rather prefer the tougher line when it comes to music! "Dear Darling" is a really nasty thing which to me has been fired on first hearing to mind and is really for weeks no longer went out of my head. Even though I still hear this song today, I do not get bored and will have to sing out loud - simply a sustainable and timeless song! Even "One of these days" is a song of this caliber - a really great ballad! The complete album is it to appear much boring or cheesy away and definitely one of the good pop albums. To my favorite songs include besides the already mentioned, nor "What a buzz", "Army of Two", "Troublemaker" and the title song "Right Place, Right Time".
My conclusion: A very decent pop album that knows how to impress with varied diversity and strong songs. Even for people like me who have prescribed more of rock music worth listening!
