In the first experiments I have made myself a little clumsy,
but because it can be so rotate around each axis is only responsive to the lateral tilt.
So you are caught occasionally that you already rotated relative keeps the controller in his hands.
This is improving but after a short adjustment period and already turning his merry rounds.
As Sega Rally games me and Forza 3 are available.
Kinect I have not characterized the recognition should also improve, according to Microsoft.
It was not possible to some extent in both games, a similar time to reach as with the standard controller.
Especially in Forza I was partly significantly slower. An Example for insider.:
Distance: New York Circuit Full
Auto: Mosler MT900S tuned R3 / 800
Settings: Everything up on ABS and the circuit manually without a clutch.
Best Time Wireless Speed Weel: ~ 01: 01: 500
Best time Standard controller: ~ 00: 57: 700
Even with a fast split-screen duel in Sega Rally the user always had with the Speed Wheel the distinct disadvantage.
Positives:
+ Processed good
+ Width trigger larger stroke. It can be given sensitive gas.
+ It's fun
+ Small, lightweight and can be easily stowed away.
+ Reacts quite well to the movements
Negatives:
- It is missing some buttons
- Less precise than the standard controller
- Manual switching is a horror. One must assume a relatively cramped thumb attitude.
- The lack of connections (headset, battery pack)
- Rapid movements are not always implemented optimally.
My Conclusion:
For casual and Fungamer the controller is quite funny. Fast one is so terrible.
