So I have my Notebook Cooler now about 1 week. For the first time he squealed initially (2sec.), Then you did not hear that he is on. I had also to take up laptop to look at whether the cooler is still running. Perhaps you would have there still should install a control lamp. Other models of Zalman have such a lamp. The manual is not in German. I find a shame. Be one does of a USB cable. That but a Y-cable is not. Have for the first time saw a Y-cable and really had huge difficulties to connect this. What helped me the internet is a German manual from Cooler ZM-NC3000U. The look and fit my 17 inch notebook is perfect. Now and then he squeaks from time to time during mixing. On the positive side, so I know that he is at. Conclusion, good in price and in quality and functionality. Despite my little suggestions I would buy this again Cooler.
Addendum (18/04/2011): Bin far very pleased with the Notebook Cooler. Squeaking he still does anyway after each turn on. What I noticed is that he is very sensitive to dust. So one should nevertheless times from and take up his laptop and dusting less. Notebook has always so ne by the Cooler temperature below 35 degrees. I'm very satisfied.
