For the better:
- The screen is quite good with a decent resolution of 800x600. It was important that the screen is relatively independent of view, finally, one can look normal even photos from different angles. In many (mirrored) models, one sees actually only correct thing when you stand in front of it. When Monet Deluxe can recognize something even from the side without any problems.
- The operation is simple and easily, using the File Manager is an easy management of photos / videos.
- Good format support: Until now, the picture frames played all formats used by me from any problems, even in the correct scale.
- The device has a calendar with alarm function and can probably MP3s abpsielen (I do not need both)
- Adequate accessories: USB cable, USB host cable, remote control, power supply
Negatives:
- In dark images, or black stripes on the sides (eg if you are the frame in landscape orientation, but upright format images are displayed) annoys the bright display lights on the sides EXTREME. It takes a very strong clouding effect on ... ie the picture left and right where it was supposed to be black light stripes and then towards the center always better. (Operation to factory settings)
- Needs according to test a relatively large power (9 watts)
- Few settings; I miss eg "playlists" of slideshows; a Shuffle does not exist; I can not set whether the photos should be scaled (you can manually zoom); Videos can only be looked at individually manually; "Mixed operation" of photos and videos also not there
- You can not turn off the device with the remote control and something like a switch with which one could set operating times has it either.
- Device starts after switching off again from the beginning and has not there where it stopped. It's annoying when you have a lot of pictures and picture frames, for example, only in the evening when you're at home you get almost always turns to see only the same images.
Conclusion:
I would not buy the device again. KO criterion are missing Shuffle and the clouding effect for me. The picture is good in daylight as soon as it gets darker annoys the backlight. However, I did not know at present also, that other device should I instead buy in this price range, as almost all other displays are reflective and therefore at this angle of view greatly restricted.
