To shave quality:
Compared to my Philishave I can even shave a bit shorter and have a much smoother shave afterwards than before. In this respect I can not empathize so that other users are perceived as excessively shaving performance.
Handling:
The trimmer is OK, the apparatus quite heavy and not very quiet (compared to my Philishave). But that's still all in the green zone, especially as I imagine the advantage of active cooling far beyond these properties.
The cleaning after shaving is easy, just tap it, even fix it with the supplied small brush once over it, ready. There is even a small bottle of oil in order to lubricate the shearing blade a little, if you use the shaver or wet cleans.
Cooling capacity:
The cooling performance is really great, the metal strip between the shearing blades is very cold and the remains while shaving too. Over time, the grip area warmed something here so the heat is ultimately removed. If you then turn off the shaver or the cooling function, the heat flowing back also to the cooling strip. If one switches the cooling function again, it takes so about 10 seconds until the cooling strip has become cold again. So either consistently cool or then wait a few seconds.
All in all, so I can express my enthusiasm for the good shave and significantly reduced skin irritation!
POSTSCRIPT: After a few weeks use, I'm still very happy, and I have a little tip: In the face of my skin is not as sensitive, so I'm starting only on the face and not use the cooling function so long. STILL feels the metal strip on its own quite a long cool on the skin, which is also very pleasant. When I get to my neck, I turn on the cooling function. Thus hät the battery min. a shave longer ...
