To the sound of the headphones there have been many reports. He has shr deep bass and is still quite airy. On a Sony Walkman with the DAC in the headphones, it sounds a bit airy and larger. However, I have the headphones returned because of Klinkenanschlus had a loose connection. Overall this connection I find poorly resolved. Since I want to use the headset not only with the Walkman, I ordered the MDR 1a without DAC.
