I find "little hair in the soup" when you see it so.
I own 5 SLR cameras (Canon) and a relatively old Vivitar Digital Camera. But the PowerShot completely convinced. Both the diversity and the speed, quality and feel, processing and placement of controls are exemplary. I bought the camera because I did not want to take my SLR sensitive equipment on holiday in the Middle East. And since I have memory card and batteries, there's no discount. For that I can use the readily available AA batteries in an emergency. I think therefore the AA solution better than an expensive LiIo battery.
The use of absolute layman is relatively simple, since there is a special program for amateurs. Here, the entire camera is explained.
The flash must be folded manually, is at first confusing but, better for my opinion as all cameras that constantly flashes!
For this price, Canon delivers a camera that delivers as much as two to three times expensive cameras. Thoroughly recommended.
