I have a curtain rod needed, which I could install on my windows (approx 3m wide). Unfortunately, the mounting options are there very limited, so that only one installation below the window lintel came into question. This rod fulfills all my requirements. The only drawback - because I have to take off the rod almost to its full length, it depends in the middle easily which of course does not look especially nice. Solution: Repeated fixation of rod in the middle. I have to think long and looking until I found a workable solution had visually hardly noticeable. The whole thing is quite simple. I have two neodymium magnets concerned (round, 15x5mm) Holding force about 7kg. A I have attached with adhesive tape on the bar (The curtain can be easily slide over it) and the second mounted above the lintel. Now I can simply click on the center bar. For the magnet at the fall I took a ring magnet, which I drilled with a screw. Aleternativ folds but with a little hot glue determined. Keeps great and does not fall on :-)
