Very quiet fans that are also visually appealing

In my current project color fans are an important thing. Originally I wanted to buy myself more BitFenix ​​Spectre Pro in the required sizes, but I'll go with the Corsair then yet convenient way. So once again made a bulk order with my neighbor, and now I could test the fan a few days.

Processing:
Here we come directly to my (single!) Criticism. The frame itself is quite thin, and can bend or twist easily. So as Corsair has then something saved in my opinion too much with the material.
But very well done, I found the design of the LED (these can be replaced in an emergency itself), and the black ribbon cable with the fan is powered. Thus, the customer is the embarrassed (and hide;)) made the cable very easily. The black fan connector on the motherboard I need not mention extra, right?

Accessories:
In the box you will find, apart from the fans themselves, only two small bags with four black fan screws. Here Corsair has me however but then pleasantly surprised ... This is not about the usual 08/15 screws, but times to really good! You are deep black, from a good metal, and the cutting performance is very good. In my eyes, the even a bit better than my otherwise always preferred fan screws of InLine.

Volume:
Exceptionally here, the term 'Quiet Edition' really make sense. Neither the fan itself, nor the resulting air flow can be described as 'sound'. On the contrary, now seem all the other fans 'loud' (had briefly disconnected;)), and I had already selected in terms of volume.
However, this is also very dependent on the housing. Both in my old converted Fractal Design ARC R2 (front) as well as in my new Corsair Obsidian 750D (now in the lid) they are almost imperceptible.

Appearance:
The illumination provided by the LED also knows how to please. A rich red that is not too intrusive and the environment nevertheless illuminates well. In direct comparison to the BitFenix ​​I like the Corsair then but much better.

Water cooling:
Despite the 'open' frame, these fans are suitable in pull configuration also very good for water cooling. However, one should then also obstruct a radiator has a coarse lamellar structure (such as the radiators from Alphacool).

TL / DR
Who is looking for quiet lit fans who can access here without hesitation. These fans (not necessarily in that color;)) will come up with in my list of standard components.

Tips:
1. Even if one should not lay cables between the motherboard support and motherboard, so this is for once possible with the connecting cables of the fans. Of course it should be clear that one then the cables can be enough game, and the tray (!) Attached.
2. The fans are also suitable as a substitute for a CPU cooler. One was mounted on my two computers on an old cooler from Scythe and keeps the CPU (a FX 8150) without any problems from the critical temperature ranges out. The second fan cools, in combination with the Basic 65 Prolimatech my FX 8320th

Addendum:
While the BitFenix ​​shortly before purchased now begin to make noises through the Corsair (by now eight months) still like the first day.
