I have an Arcadia Bird Lamp bought at above traders on 22.11.2013, but it was taken only a few weeks later in operation. In early March after ca.1100 hours of operation it was defective. She hummed only quiet, but not shone. I'm assuming that this lamp like other fluorescent lamps should be at least 5 to 10 times as much as life. The vitreous humor is dark and not quite white like old lamps. When the lamp is lit up, she came to me even before not particularly bright. So I'm very clear from an electronics defect. (I have decades of experience in an electric profession). The lamp has been used properly, that is, in Beriebszeitraum once a day on and off. There were no error causes by greatly increased switching cycles, temperatures or power surges. The dealer refused a warranty on lamps from principle and referred to a grace request by Arcadia, which was never answered. So much for the advertised aspired customer satisfaction of the retailer.
