But first you have to connect it properly !! That's not easy. The description is little information about the cable assignment and the cables do not have the standard colors.
I've finally done with this allocation:
Brown = L1 (black cable, ankommand);
Blue = N (blue wire);
Red = L1 (black or brown cable to the lamp, outgoing)
This is a personal experience and of course I do not take any guarantee that it will always work that way. So better consult an electrician.
What I like:
+ Very small sensor for 12mm hole - thus very inconspicuous
+ Reliable on and off
+ Easy operation via DIP switch
+ Sensor can be separated for assembly purposes via plug
What to consider:
- Initial assembly is made difficult by lack of names and false colors of the connecting cables
- Because the controller is larger than the sensor, the sensor (eg ceiling) must be installed in addition to a downlight. So the accessibility to the control unit is given back.
- Limited settings:
Time: 5 sec, 30 sec, 1 min, 3 min, 5 min, 8 min......
Brightness: less than 10 lux or more
Sensitivity: High or Low
Do it only surprised that the manufacturer or dealer may not attributing at least a leaflet with the pin assignment?!? - For a star deduction.
