It is a "Selfie" -Handystativ, which was really made robust and stable. Only the load capacity of 1.5 kg indicates this. By using 1: 4 inch standard thread also most cameras can be placed up to above weight class. A small bubble level (spirit level) has been integrated for a largely straight alignment of the smartphone or camera. Note the smartphone, however, (estimated) from 4 inches diagonally not likely fit in portrait orientation in the mobile phone holder. The adjustable screw on the mobile phone holder is not long enough for it, here it works only in landscape mode. Of course you can the "Panhead" also tilt and rotate, so that you could make an alignment, in almost every direction. The clamping / tensioner to keep the Neiger in his position, was designed very neat and tight span. Due to the low height of the stand (8.5 cm) can, of course, depending on the orientation and Smartphone weight / size, the whole thing sometimes be a bit wobbly.
What I did not like so much is the remote control, which is intended only for iOSX devices. I noticed too late. This is probably a remote control enable (for music, video, camera app, Siri and slideshow) on the smartphone or MAC. Actually a cool idea, but unfortunately only for iOS / OSX!
Since the tripod comes to review time for half a hundred over the counter, I would recommend it for Apple users with 4 stars (like) rate. For all other smartphone systems I would 3.5 stars awarded, since it is a fairly sturdy tripod, in which case, however, the FB can not be used.
