The shell hugs the LG G3. It offers good grip and it does not thicken beyond measure unit.
The LG G3 having the flaw to be very slippery to grip, this flaw disappears completely with this protective shell.
Some people may prefer protection with flap, but for me, this is exactly what I wanted.
