Since many of these devices: skeptic, sometimes even stamped as useless I report times from my experiences. About me, I'm early 20s, at 1.80m 70kg, normal figure, Show Average physically active. I bought the EM35 out of curiosity. The workmanship is very high quality. Kontatkgel is not needed, just the contact surfaces (looks and feels like foam rubber, not metal) and the belly with a little water to moisten. The operation is very simple and intuitive. Simply adjust the desired intensity and the program starts. The feeling is really very chaotic, definitely not as electric shocks, but a slight tingling sensation can be felt already. Here comes the important part: The muscles are stimulated and work as in the normal training. This is sometimes very exhausting! It is not a magic which somehow conjures up muscles, but a stimulating and exercising the muscles. I stood the whole skeptical towards, but at two units a day (about 25-30min per unit) I could go every day a higher Intesität. You really realize that the muscles gain strength. After 2 weeks, the abdominal muscles were feeling somewhat defined, however, who like me is rumschleppt with a little bacon can see no Sixpack without additional measures (diet / additional training). After 6 weeks of use (twice a day) I'm on stage 33. The abdominal muscles are (to be felt, not seen!) Well defined and a lot stronger than at the beginning.
The EM35 is very well suited to build muscle or to strengthen. One can find success every day (in which one creates higher Intesität). The abdominal muscles can be trained geziehlt what I did not succeed with standard exercises (sit-ups, etc.). The workouts are exhausting, I'm sitting here ever since it is uncomfortable otherwise (be running as suggested in the advertising through the area is rubbish) but bring good results.
I can only recommend to look at this device times and not be deterred by the same scathing comments.
