This book series has me very excited and I got me the latest part of the series (City of Lost Souls) ordered in English.
The predecessor of Clockwork Prince, Clockwork Angel I read in German, and he gave me did indeed fall, but me not so blown away like the Mortal Instruments.
Then I came across in a bookstore by chance on Clockwork Prince (English), and thought to myself - why not? Finally, I was also excited City of Lost Souls in English.
When I was at home, I read the book in one go, because I just could not stop reading, it was so fascinating!

I think I have more to the book not say any of look at the sequel is well know in what kind of world Tessa lives, and what happened in Volume 1, etc.
The English version of Clockwork Prince made me only to die-hard fan of the book series. Somehow me in English everything seriously before, and the story has me drawn more in their wake.
Especially Will's secret made me really desperate, especially when he told Tessa about it ... I want to reveal anything here yet, but the end of the book really made me both sad and leave something happy. Rather mixed feelings, I did not know so really know what to make of it. In any case, you can / you with some surprising twists (in my opinion) expect!
To anyone who still doubts the book in English to buy or read the book series from the beginning, which I can only advise you to order immediately!
I am now waiting eagerly for Clockwork Princess ...
