The pad is really very high quality packed / protected delivered (product package), you can see here already the discerning customer.
After unpacking came second, pleasant surprise; the cushion leaves a great impression of quality!
Our first inspection; the smell (with feathers / down a not unimportant quality feature).
Out of the box, only a very little intrinsic odor was noticeable.
In the lounge features a pillow the Häussling convinced wholeheartedly.
The pad feels relatively firm and is still very adaptable.
It also drops a not so deep.
The noticeable impression is very pleasant and provides a relaxing and sound sleep.
Unfortunately, increased, a few days after unpacking, the odor of an almost unbearable level.
My wife has used the pillow and I have next to the smell barely endured in bed.
Even her it was too much.
Since the pillow is washable, we thought that a laundry in the machine might eliminate the odor.
Thus we have the new pillows, grudgingly (who washes beautifully like an almost new pillow?), In the washing machine.
We have a washing machine with 8 kg capacity and had neat problems when washing!
The fabric of the pillow is wet apparently so dense that not even air can escape.
In addition, the pillows fluffed in the machine so that it no longer fit through the porthole.
How do you wash a pillow so orderly if the contents are not, or insufficiently comes into contact with water ???
In the worst case penetrates the long main wash cycle by the detergent and is not eliminated properly in the short wash cycles!
In the dryer the same problem; as the substance of the cushion nothing passes, drying took forever.
The smell is certainly not disappeared (as in such washing ability?).
Even after weeks the pillow smells so unpleasant that a use for us is impossible.
No recommendation!

Meanwhile, we have the pad washed 3x.
The washing in the machine is easy Horror!
As already mentioned, the pillow wet is completely sealed, so that water does not really penetrate to the content.
A real washing is thus impossible and therefore also the smell can not be removed.
