Very, very quiet.

Finally, a very quiet outer filter which could stand in the bedroom (very low hum). The Fluval G6 costs more than twice and is it also more than twice as loud (for me in the living room as a freestanding filter is not portable).
Small drawback when Eheim: The hose connection at the filter would be with a screw, as resolved at the installation set, better and safer than draufklipsen this comic security clamp for.

Tip: All moving parts, in particular hose adapter, flow control / lever, rubber seals etc. Before operating with Eheim Spray silicone spray (better outdoors, otherwise slippery floor by spray), and already misses everything like clockwork.
Plastic on plastic rubs now times and is difficult to move, then calcium deposits on the fly, because defects on the hose coupling, flow lever, etc. are inevitable. Why this is not done at the factory, or is not explicitly indicated in the user manual (only care for the rubber seals of E. recommended) ?, is a mystery to me (I already with a prof 3e the lever of the hose coupling ruined. - after approval is unfounded .....).
That's what I did at the Water-in-out system from JBL after mine was canceled 2x the increasingly stiff stopcock. Inside is the influx of 2 perforated plastic balls regulated, as when Eheim- in each channel Eheim silicone spray and the lever can be moved very easily.
I run the Eheim with the matching pre-filter, which works very well and increases the service life considerably. Rinse every 2 weeks, 2 pre-filter under running water and is good.
Operating on a 200l tank, fresh water.
