1. Three red roses:
Funnily song, the gag with the "Indians" is typical of the Dorfrocker. Good opener.
2. Come into my igloo:
Apres Ski Greetings. At first, the song is a little strange - I do not know why. The song I have to listen a few more times.
3. Freibier Otto:
First you can hear: "Free Beer Otto With Me your mother" - and thinking: Huh, what's that?
But in the song there is the riddle. Very funny story and catchy. If you listen very probably more often in Mallorca.
4. Mooorgen:
Catchy melody, reminiscent of the Höhner. Something different and refreshing.
5. Schnitzel:
This song shows the versatility that makes the Dorfrocker. Rockig tinged, yet funny.
6. In the village where I was born:
The text suggests that this is the continuation of the "country boy". And so it is. Somehow everyone here safely identify with it, who lives in the countryside. Super!
7. Come with me into the hay:
"We make a love nest where it can be beautiful love it" - I think the site says enough. Typically ambiguous, typical Dorfrocker. Strong rock number.
8. A simple guy:
Here the title suggests also what is at stake. Honest, down to earth, nice.
9. A Scheib'n cut:
When I heard the song for the first time, which aroused immediate memories of my grandfather. Very personal song that makes you think.
10. We have fun at the glass:
1st impression: Are you serious, or take them set himself on the arm? They probably know only yourself. :)
11. You only live once:
The song casts light and shadow. The text is great, but I wonder why the packaged into so "sad" music. Bit of a shame. Otherwise the song would really potential to become one of my favorite songs of Dorfrocker.
12. So i di characteristics:
The secret hit of this album. The song begins rather unfamiliar with guitar, then increases more and more, and the chorus is one arrived at the "rock track". Of course, as well as a guitar solo should not be missed. I'm concerned, the Dorfrocker are welcome to bring in even more with this style for the next album.
13. village child:
I think this does not have to say much. The "country boy" is since the last album already my favorite song of Dorfrocker. The live concerts - I've now visited three - there is probably no one who does not sing along.
All in all a very good album. Even better than "rolling out the red carpet". From my absolute buy recommendation!
