The first belt, I'd get delivered in August, had initially immediately and without complaint with an iPhone 4S and iPad 3 with the Mountain Bike Pro app works. Then after about 1.5 months by another on the day no longer. The use was limited to 2-3 times a week for 1-2 hours per session. The battery had 3.05 V on the meter. For safety, I still had a new clean that I had also previously measured with 3.15 V. The belt or the sender was, however partout no longer recognized. Since I had but those purchased directly from Amazon as a consignor, the return was incl. Reimbursement as broken no problem at all. In fact, came the refund confirmation before the package could ever be reached on Amazon. So again reappointed - direct exchange did not and was, as in the meantime the price also fell again EUR 13 also quite welcome ;-) Except for the annoying downtime and waiting for the batteries, which I had ordered only and which unfortunately had quite a delivery time, This had a positive aspect. The new belt was working then after a few attempts separated again easily. The old station at the new belt but (however despite separating in the app and go up and down the Devices) is still not. By the way, with an interim safety nor other loaded app (MapMyRun). The iPhone has the way (unchanged) even iOS 5 and the iPad iOS 6, including any operating system dependent. Who by the way read the reviews on the chest strap Wahoo, noted even fast that there is frequently failures even though the belt is still considerably more expensive and not quite as slim looks. Anyway, will now use the Polar belt again and, if necessary again follow up on an update when the second strap also fails. The packaging was actually already changed slightly and looked a little more modern (formerly black design cardboard in the plastic box was now white), whether it was, however, also changes in the transmitter inner life, it can certainly not be inferred; hoped it would be. Oh, just for completeness, the transmitter is also never come up somewhere roughly in the already short time and was either abgeknöft in the drawer or was in use. It will be fascinating ...
Addendum dated 13.01.2013 As feared, is now also the second heart rate monitor for now 3 months from a day to another without function - a sort of Sudden Death ... :-( As before I have several apps / devices tested, including restarting the device and new battery even though I the old've measured with 2,94V. However, all should get without reconnection. Therefore, appears with the heart rate monitor to have a fundamental problem. As a consequence, only 1 star and even for the price is still too much! That's better comes I see with my Garmin (also WearLink chest strap), although the Edge 705 certainly not as comfortable as an iPhone.
