I needed for my monopod - Walimex WT-1003 Basic - a matching ball head, so I the appropriate "assistance" have even when shooting in portrait orientation. However, one needs to fix this head an adapter which reduces the thread of 3 / 8Zoll to 1 / 4in. Even my "tripod" has a smaller thread diameter, so I have attached the adapter with a drop of thread locking permanently on the ball head - holds bombproof ...

Only the price suggests that one with the adapter, a high-precision workpiece from the finest materials, space-capable and earthquake-proof, acquires - as it is but is here to vile, industrially manufactured commodity, I have deducted accordingly generous a star. Nevertheless: buy recommendation!
