Overview: The basic game elements are the usual for action adventure fighting, boss battles, puzzles and dexterity elements.
With none of the game elements neglected. But leave the challenging puzzles and especially the good main story
a lasting impression. Overall, you have to 5 or 6 different boss fights in places as diverse as eg the destroyed
Defeating New York, a desert and a castle.
Gameplay: Skillfully manage the developers to switch between more hectic passages and patient puzzles deposits. Bit by bit
you gain new pieces of equipment that you mostly just needed to solve the immediate tasks or bosses.
The entire game comes as no excitement, there's always something new toys "are.
Later in the game you get as your steed, a scythe and other things. This applies both to the varied level design,
as well as to puzzle.
Even on such puzzles in Portal was thought where your example have to slow down time, at the same time a switch
activated and then to slip through a portal to the other side of the room. Here good timing and the correct use of skills is required.
Of course, there are also switches / block sliding puzzle and the like.
To set against the creatures of the Apocalypse to defend can you melee (area and individual attacks)
combined with ranged attacks.
On top of that there are dozens of different combos again. A downer are merely the same old finisher,
where one has seen sometime fed. Certainly, a lot of things already seen in other games, but Darksiders manages it into something
Standalone to create.
Graphics: comic graphics with some splatter effects, without, however, the tasteless drift such as God of War or DanteŽs Inferno.
Technically there is to complain about except for a little tearing little with many opponents. The cartoon graphics harmonizes very well in the post-apocalypse.
Sound: A successful voice and polyphonic music round out the experience package in the end times world.
Story: The story is only slowly getting underway, but binds to the mid or end of the game, the plot then more and more.
This is ensured not least interesting NPCŽs cavort here and advance the story.
Conclusion: For me the game of 2010 was published in January with Darksiders.
Not a second of about 17 hours (okay with the deaths rather 18-19 hours) I have bored me This was particularly
to the great puzzles that bring the brain turns to rotate. Whoever dismisses Darksiders as God of War clone, has this
Game either not played correctly, or not understood.
Darksiders needs no exaggerated splatter effects to please, but this creates a good story,
mind-bending puzzles, a free world to explore, successful bosses and a harmonious setting.
I would highly recommend any action adventure Darksiders friend without hesitation with a penchant for mind-bending puzzles.
PS A second part is already in development.
