My claims are:
- No delay in mouse movement, since I'm a gamer and gamble about "needs"
Connect and operate Monitor + a 47 "TV for streaming -
- To maintain optimum performance in games
- A simple and rapid operation / facility of the whole
The unit arrived quickly, as I'm used to it from Amazon. Have connected and installed, as it stood in the manual will show. My first problem was real, like me because the image is getting on my monitor, and not "just" or "advanced" on the laptop screen can be seen. I never thought that this can take as much time, especially since it eigtl. Not are so many options in the respect ?! I do not know whether Microsoft as this fails, i-tec or myself (remember, I have a lot to do with PC's). Suddenly I was instead of 2 screens, showing 5, including 2 "not recognizable" and another was connected at any time. Only until I had all the screens turned off except for my monitor ("Monitor disconnect" in the settings), I did it, that only my screen display and will not be extended.
My next problem came immediately afterwards. I wanted to connect the TV or set up as a second display, but came on a picture. I then connected him directly to my laptop as it went, came only through the dock just a picture (I have certainly more than an hour, all settings tried out). There, the product already retired then actually for me.
My mouse has about the dock about a delay of 0.1 to 0.2 seconds. Who says now, I should not even be so petty, do not know how much that really matters!
Then, when I could not even start more games because of the docking station, it was finally over and I knew I would return the equipment directly the next day. I do not know what exactly the dock and associated software makes / changed, but I could not start a single game more. It always came only the message "Error - DirectX 11 does not work and game can not be started Please install latest video card driver.". Since the laptop just spent 2 weeks old times and also Windows is fully fitted new 8.1, of course I have the latest drivers installed only. General as a gamer, I am of course always trying to have the latest drivers! Nevertheless de- times all drivers and reinstalled, but problem continues. I have also not been able to solve, me it was too stupid and I have the dock dismantled and packed directly again.
There are still a few small criticisms, such as that my Razer mouse does not go out (The lights of the mouse), if I shut down the laptop and it is connected to the docking station. The lights of the dock (blue and green) (not at night why eigtl.? Very disturbing) do not go out when the system is shut down. Even my system takes longer to boot up when it is booted with an attached dock.
Conclusion:
For me as a gamer not to use. Both 0,1 - 0,2 sec delay in the mouse, as well, that I could not start any more games, are for me an absolute no-go.
For all who are looking for a docking station for the business area, so do not gamble it and probably will not notice the minimum delay of the mouse, this is certainly a good and cheap solution in dock segment.
2 stars so only from the perspective of a gamer with claims in that very area, for all other actually Thoroughly recommended.
