Waste glass recycling

Even on my Pentax DSLRs I have had very good experience with older lenses. After switching to Sony it made sense to look at Minolta offer. Minolta had even been offered a wide range of lenses for digital SLRs before the takeover by Sony.
The 50 / 1.7 is a very fast standard lens. The crop factor it gives a focal length of about 77mm. Ideal for portraits and much more. In one of the many photo forums I bought a used copy of Minolta.

The 50er makes a very good and sophisticated look in the processing. Toll is the built-in lens hood. The AF of the lens is very fast and is located on the spot. Like the Pentax counterpart, the smc FA 50 / 1.7, and the Minolta is open very sharp. It is not necessarily the 50 / 1.4, which is indeed offered. Together with my Sony Alpha 500 produces the very fast team, which is capable to unprecedented actions by the low noise of the Exmor sensor in low light. Handheld photography in situations with low light is no problem at all. Since both the lens and the camera permit. Pleasant are also the hardly warnehmbaren drive noises and the light weight of the 50s. The pictures are great and the so-called. "Bokeh" is great.

My conclusion: With the Minolta 50 / 1.7 you get a very good lens for (still) low price. Especially the image quality and the intensity have convinced me. With a little luck you get a good, little used copy, with original box and papers already just above 100. There is no reason for me to another lens to grip. 5 stars for the old glass.
