First of all I would like to inform you that I bought only the flash and not the to purchasable Funkauslöser.
I have the flash here ordered from Amazon and that of the Okluge- companies. The Nissin DI700A unfortunately came only a week after I had ordered him to. However, I was prepared for it and have it get it slightly cheaper than in the store. (For them as little additional info if you only need it quickly. Then prefer to buy directly from Amazon if it is available.)
The flash came on in a far too large carton, however, was well padded, so he arrived intact.
But now times to the hard facts of Unboxings:
Repackaged came the Nissin DI700A in the classic Nissin- cardboard with me, and I myself was wondering what to expect. He's already been in the open the protective bag, which makes a good impression processed. With cloth and inside processed from the outside with a soft polyester. In addition, a classic flash bracket by Nissin has been supplied. This has a small stable iron thread on the foot underneath the bottom. This can be the flash, for example, an ordinary tripod place (in my opinion, very beneficial). Furthermore, a small guide for the flash is provided, and one for the corresponding remote trigger, although I do not have this.
The flash itself makes a very good impression and has no means cheap processed. He has at the base a metal shoe, which makes the whole of the camera more stable, because the flash is quite large (in my opinion, not too big).
Mounted on my Canon EOS 700D it acts very well mounted and it wobbles nothing.
The Test:
First of all I want to say that the flash is kept very classic with little buttons and can therefore be operated very easily.
For my part I can only say that I the automatic mode, the TTL mode, the mode Manuellen- and SD (Slave) - have tested mode.
All running properly with my camera and the high guide number of the flash lights up very well. In Manuellen- mode, or in the two slave modes, the flash can be controlled from 1/128 up to 1/1 flash intensity. Positive is also that you get provided the 24-200mm zoom range. Especially if you want to use the Bokeh a tele objective with portrait shootings. In addition, the flash supports the so-called 'high-speed syncronisation' what a welcome with shutter speeds of up to 1/8000 sec. to photograph. I for one could, however, only up to 1/4000 sec. go because my camera because puts an end. Despite remarkable.
My Conclusion:
+ Stable built (well made and metal thread)
+ Highspeedsync.
+ Zoom range of 24-200mm
+ High guide number
+ Easy operation
+ Slave modes
+ 5 years warranty at Nissin
+ Bag and foot included
- Those looking for a lot of accessories but should pick up the original
I have my matching flash found and want others to Nissin DI700A friend also. Especially since it is cheaper than an original Canon flash, which has the same number of functions. It was to achieve a lot with him and learn. However, if you do not necessarily want to buy the remote release later, I can recommend the Nissin DI700. This may be just the same, only that it does not respond to the remote trigger in principle.
Both flashes have an unbeatable price. Nissin DI700A Stand 04/2015 -> 181.07
If you enjoyed the review, I would be happy about a 'helpful'.
Have a nice day.
