I admit to having a lot of expectation from this book, but unfortunately after 80 pages, I found it rather dull. While it is expected an investigation and a presentation of the New York police life, we are faced with a novel of introspection and judgment cops by another cop.
But the main defect of the author is sinking into the accumulation of details, digressions on topics important to the hero, but not necessarily for the story or drive, such as changing New York neighborhoods.
