Recently it was time and we bought (in a Tchibo branch) our new Cafissimo. The instructions are detailed and easy to understand. Here, however, coffee was not like most companies are already doing, but fortunately we have a pack with different varieties to get free. At home I have flushed and tested the device.
The first impression was great! The device is processed with value and looks very classy Duch chromed elements. My first coffee was a Cafe Crema mild. The result was very sobering. The smell when brew was very pleasant, but the Keffee has a very wässigen taste. The "crema" was quite simply a joke, so I with my old Senseo with any other pad more. Since I already rather strong coffee like (and yes deshab want unsteigen on a capsule system) so I have tried the full-bodied crema. The taste was indeed intense, but the coffee just watery. Again, the crema is nil. Once you put pours a spoonful of sugar and stirs the few puny foam flakes are also gone. Then I tested an espresso capsule. Here I was surprised. The Espresso is quite drinkable, but far inferior to the aroma ago my Nespresso.
Following these disappointing results, I tried out a capsule with filter coffee. Finally a useful result of the coffee is full-bodied and tastes very good. Also the selling to Cafe Crema India tastes good. However, this one has no crema. The WOW effect remained but unfortunately completely out. The coffee tastes good, but nothing more. even with 10 times the pressure of the Senseo coffee comes out no where I would say that it justifies the almost double price for Senseo pads.
In the course of my tests me some weaknesses are still noticed:
- It runs quite a lot of water through the capsule ejection in the Auffangschale- itself not a big problem, but when you want to turn the Platform for the cups, because you want to stand a smaller Tase you long ago in this Süffe pure.
- It is only possible to prepare a cup of the same, and here only small.
For a large cup you have to 2x in succession to take a capsule.
- The water tank can be a little difficult to remove the machine you always have something to displace the water nachzufüllen- the additional slot to fill it from the top is quite silly, because it is far too tiny with so constantly spilled the water.
- The machine has made whatever reason no water level indicator. So it happens that one wants to make a coffee and after a quarter cup of water no longer is there. Or stop the machine after the pre-brewing and you have the capsule already in it. An absolute no-go
Luckily a Tchibo granted a 2-week test-way so that we, the device will definitely return again. This coffee quality it does not make sense to upgrade to more expensive capsules ...
