I have tried the whole thing in the evening in the dark. The result was far from the way I had imagined. The lamps have a bright white beam in the center and outside a fairly yellowish border. The yellow border would not bother me, but overall everything looked very dark.
Then after 2 hours of operation, I wanted to again replace the lamps for direct comparison against the 35Watt halogen lamps. Here came the next surprise. The eSmart LEDs were so hot that I could take from these versions with bare slopes. In an LED, I would have expected that this warm, but not hot, be. (Even as a hint: I have absolutely open lamps, here there is no heat can accumulate)
Cool after a few minutes, I could but then switch back to halogen. That was in the brightness difference is like day and night. Now I have not got a chance to measure the luminous flux, but in no case reach the lamps a total brightness in the room, such as a new 35 watt halogen lamp. Right in the spot brightness is comparable, but the halogen lamp emits a much larger area, so that it is lighter in the area as a whole significantly (really much). I also had only 35 watt halogen lamps and 40W not. Therefore, the LED spotlight would actually have to be even brighter.
After a week of LED lighting in the hallway I then ordered out of curiosity nor 7Watt LEDs of Auraglow. With whom I absolutely satisfied. Although these spots are 10 Lumen less "light" according to the description, here is the Hellligkeit the 35 Watt halogen spotlights (which I had for comparison) achieved loose. These spots are only slightly warm even after 2 hours of operation and do not have a yellow tinge in the edge region of the light cone.
From the color of light manufactures both the eSmart spots, as well as the Auraglow Spots slightly colder than normal halogen lamps act.
Summary:
Product replaced under any circumstances, as stated in the description, a 40 Watt halogen lamp. That is why ever 2 star deduction. Another star deduction that the lamps become very hot and the edges of the beam have a yellow tinge.
Positive man must however emphasize the lamp shape. The lights just look good.
Another note: The LED spotlights, regardless of manufacturer, are significantly larger than halogen lamps, so before remeasure whether everything fits.
