The luminescent properties of the headlamp, as one would expect from a flashlight specialist, outstanding. The continuous adjustment of the brightness of a switch at the back is nice, but in my view not necessary. At the lamp itself the light focus can be adjusted.
The battery promises suitability for daily use, such as in winter. The three batteries (in addition to the batteries, commercially available AAA batteries can be used) sitting in a plastic housing on the back of the head, which is connected via rubber cables with the LED light. The plastic housing has to insert a rubber cover to back head that can be removed the batteries. A separate charging cable is included.
Personal Opinion:
The lamp seems to be not designed for runners (on the cover is a freeclimbers shown). For short-term use, the design is safe enough. Mechanic, walkers or climbers anglers could thus get along. For runners, I can not recommend the lamp. The battery box is not completed, so that the relatively heavy box teeters when walking and inevitably slips on the neck after a while. He does have a firm grip, the tape suppressed but on the ears. This is quite unpleasant and also looks very disadvantageous because the earpieces are pressed outwards. Even headband headphones, as they will want to wear while running, thereby lose their grip. It lacks a central band, as with the heavier Two brothers headlamps. In addition, the lamp presses the pre-header, which leaves a visible mark on the forehead after removing.
Especially long-distance runners and trail runners need headlamps. For example, the 100km run from Biel starts at night and the Zugspitze Ultra makes a headlamp for mandatory equipment. Ultra runners should here but definitely not access. For prolonged wearing you need comfortable fit and perfect hold. Here we recommend the run specialists like Petzl. I can see the two brothers-lamp alone will not use, but only with external aids such as hat or Buff. In my view, a bad design, which points to a lack of testing in the field. Since lamp engineers have developed without worrying about the practical use. Too bad, because otherwise the light is very good. With buff or cap it comes true (something that you pull over your ears), but in the summer is not the best. Caps go only if they can pull over his ears. But I mean that a product must be usable by itself. However, it should be noted for the sake of completeness, that ultra runners use the lamp - then stop in combination with buff or cap. My opinion may therefore be coated. Anyone familiar with the restriction, that may indeed assess for themselves. Ideally I would but try it before.
