The title "NEW Little King's Story" somehow implies that this is a new game in the series or a prequel / sequel. But this is not so - in principle the game is identical in content to the previous Wii version and (but for PSVita ratios rather lower average figure) only provides slightly better graphics, a few new scenes and a customized on handheld control. The rest of the game is 1: 1 of the Wii version modeled.
The question now - this version is necessarily better because it has appeared later and on a more "modern" and more powerful console? Answer: NO. Unfortunately, I have to admit that the Wii version was total liquid and more playable. Technically, "New Little King's Story" implemented in my opinion very poor - even with very little "action" hooked on the screen and the image will often times. This happened in the Wii version even from time to time, but not nearly as often as here. This is definitely not on the technology of PSVita, but the bad programming of the game.
The controls are on the Vita not really succeeded. Sure, on the Wii Nunchuk and Wiimote had thanks to better, "more fluid" controls. But the implementation of the control for the Vita is thoroughly gone wrong.
The game itself is quite good, it offers a lot of variety and fun - but if you have a choice, you should be better access to the Wii version, even if they have to make minor compromises in the graph. The "port" on the PSVita is unfortunately been a shot in the oven, here the developers have worked only half-heartedly, as one might have expected more.
Hopefully come sometime but still a real "successors", until then reaches the Wii version. For PSVita version I can not advise you in any case.
