2002 was a bad year for Cash Money. With BG, Juvenile and Turk is equal to 3/4 of the Hot Boys had adopted. Also released this year album "Hood Rich" by the Big Tymers was more of a flop. So now it was the last remaining good MC, Lil Wayne Cash Money the carts to move back out of the mud. This was in part quite well, but not nearly as good to surpass "400 Degreez" to Hunder degree with his record "500 Degreez" Juve's masterpiece. The first track, which stuck in your ear immediately, "Way Of Life". The track has the same melody as 2Pac's "Hit 'em Up". Actually, a good party track, but can not keep up with Pac and the Outlawz Weezy and his support in the form of Baby and TQ far. Another highlight is "Gangsta Shit" along with North Carolina's Finest: Petey Pablo. Mannie's fast beat has become really horny and the Rhymes of Petey and Wayne, particularly in Hook, are top notch. Even better is that sexy ballad "Bloodline", a kind of homage to Wayne's mentors Baby and Slim and her Cash Money label. Another really hot, quiet song has my personal highlight, "Worry Me". The beat is chilling, very pleasant and above all Weezy delivers one of his best performances ever. Quite different, namely is really hard the Fat "Fuck You" with the Big Tymers. As already mentioned, 2002 was not just their best year, but this track breaks so some back out. Especially Mannie Freh's slow, cool Rhymes come really good. With real bomb that's it then unfortunately already. However, there is another good, though not outstanding material with the song "Look At Me", "Gangsta and Pimps", "Where You At" and "500 Degreez". Everything none hammer tracks, but you can listen to it well. However, one notices, however, in most of these remaining tracks that Weezy has not yet processed the departure of his three colleagues Hot Boys and therefore one or the other feature of distress would have been to the now and unterstützrn to slightly overmatched Wayne something. Mannie Fresh's beats are druchweg good, some great, at the end of the album, however, (the last 3 tracks), they act out unfortunately a bit unimaginative. The few features can not convince me until Petey Pablo and Big Tymers. The new Cash Money Millionaires like TQ, Tateeze or Cristale had just not the class of the Hot Boys. Compared to its predecessors and successors, is "500 Degreez" by far the weakest album, but it's still enough for 4 full stars. For each Cash Money- / Lil Wayne fan a must, all others should advance rather even listen.
