In the bathroom I have 6 Philips halogen spots a 35W (12V) at two different switches. As one of the 12 volt transformer's gave up his spirit must be found something new. Rather than re-install a transformer as an additional source of error and a consumer, I opted for the 220V, 5W LED Spots (3 of 6). In direct comparison, you can see very well make a difference. The LED color seems tinged a bit purple and will not appear so "warm". The light intensity is not nearly ran to the Philips 35W spots. Means that the LED lamps are not good? No ...
