Looking for a fanless motherboard for my office computer I came across the Asus AT5NM10T-I motherboard. Positive stung price and good quality produce. Finally, I ordered it and carried the order on Amazon, which as always worked without any problems. After I had taken the computer in a MS-TECH CI70 Mini Desktop Case in Betreib and the operating system was installed, were first temperature problems (computer restart faulty). With the included Asus program PCProbe II temperatures and voltages were measured. In idle state, the CPU reached about 70 ° C and 60 ° C motherboard under load to 85 ° C and 75 ° C CPU motherboard. This is clearly too high for a long lasting operation. In addition, the heat generation had an impact on the hard drive. For operation with fan, the temperatures lowered to 60 ° C under load. The disadvantage is that this motherboard has only one analog VGA port, but it has 4 SATA ports and a PCI-E slot. A smooth HD video playback is not possible. So this board is rather for quiet (not passively cooled) and inexpensive office computers suitable.
