So, I was very frustrated .... As for the music and a number of videos, I had found a solution with the purchase of a quality headphones (Sennheiser .. I advise) that I was using when everyone was lying. By cons, no surround sound, of course.
I hesitated to buy this helmet:
- I was worried about wireless technology
- I already owned a fine
- I was dubious of surround effects
On the first point, no problem: no breath, no noise, sufficient range, excellent battery life. Reloading is also very easy.
On the second point, comparing with good headphones, the sound is generally clearer, more brilliant, perhaps too much in certain circumstances. The bass is correct, nothing more. The Sennheiser Headphones (HD595) looks dull next, even if it is simply more balanced.
The Sony headphones are relatively comfortable, although my ears are a bit cramped in the atria. It is a little heavy, but still ok for a wireless headset (of course, in this area, he struggles to bear comparison with the Sennheiser ....)
On the last point, perhaps the most important. Let's say right away: NO, THIS IS NOT A GOOD TOGETHER BOTH HOME-CINEMA .... but not bad nonetheless. There is a real feel relief. In video games, you can (almost) mark the position of the enemy (front, back) in reliance on the sound.
It decodes Dolby Digital and DTS. As for me, it is connected via SPDIF optical output of my amp.
Finally, I am using more than this headset for everything related to audio visual ... The Sennheiser headset has found a place in the office ....
