The player is operated on a Marantz PM 6002 and KEF iQ30. The sound of original CDs leaves nothing to be desired. The combination is certainly not high-end, but for the "Feierabend underground music consumers (like me) just fine. The feel of the player, which fits well with the other devices, recalls pleasant at the time as a hi-fi was still trump. The aluminum front panel can look very sophisticated. The drawer for the pieces of silver is not too wobbly and slides with little noise in and out. Unfortunately, the support surface for the CD is not deep enough even in this player. But as the drawer in contact not just to drives, the CD you have enough time to comfortably insert. The reading will take a few seconds, but after m. E. acceptable. MP3 and other formats have not yet been tried. In operation I have seen no drive noise.
