On the positive side once more the beautiful design and the high-quality looking finish. Also for the application of the illumination of dark corners, or visual accentuation the lamp is quite usable. Unfortunately, the operation and handling is but a significant drawback.
Compared to the more expensive variant lacks a remote control, which clearly suggests a negative impact. Even the operation of the on / off switch is quite a fine work because the pressure point is operated is quite small and also not react immediately. The same applies to the choice of colors of light, which can be selected on a scale of finger pressure. This is initially though clearly (the 64 available colors are a comfortable scope), could be with a remote control but better control, because you so once must resign from the device to check that you really selected the desired light has.
In addition, the lamp thus can not be placed on cabinets or similar places that are difficult to reach. Unless, of course, to use the product for continuous lighting, then it is enough simply to pull the plug.

Conclusion: The lamp is certainly not completely misslungenes product, but I would recommend to someone who intends to create a mood light, to opt for a model with remote control. While this may be more costly to buy, but much has more uses and likely much more likely to achieve a satisfactory result.
