For some, who should also have problems, perhaps, that the NAS is not recognized at the beginning, perhaps helping my approach: Not as described in the instructions is equal to installing the HDD, but first time to test whether the NAS is ever discovered on the network. If there is no disk in it, the NAS will be detected and reported dutifully "no disc". If a disk in it (such as a WD 4TB RED with me) and this is not recognized, then the NAS can not be addressed - not at all. It can also no error message on the surface to be read. Fortunately I had ordered another 4TB (green) of WD - that worked. Whether it is now up to an incompatibility or a defective plate - no idea. The thing with the firmware update is so ne thing: let 10x manually looking for a new version and was never found something newer than the 4.61er. About 8 hours later, the NAS reports a new FW 4.7x, but the weeks but already old - very dubious. KO criterion but really the Fan: Because of other reviews that said that Zyxel would obstruct better fans in the newer NSA325V2, I decided against the KD21 of Shuttle and for the Zyxel NAS. Either I have an old caught or the other testers have too much and consume too loud music. The fan rattles and squeaks that it may well serve as Mole and Wühlmausschreck perhaps, in a NAS but he has nothing to look. Repair more than welcome!
