If "Super Charger" you realize yet that Machine Head are very experimental approached this album. A bold move in terms of the previous discs. However, it must be said that they have as yet sold far below their value. The rap style did not have to be. Technically I would not necessarily completely the album New Metal passed, although many reef passages New Metal-heavy are. Compared to the previous albums "Burn My Eyes", "The More Things Change" and "The Burning Red" this album is however a huge step backwards, despite the bold excursions into the neo- and core sector. But who has heard the subsequent albums "Through The Ashes Of Empires" and especially the brilliant about "The Blackening" once, forgive Machine Head but this very strange style breakfasts. Machine Head are easy and remain the top when it comes to hard, tune stressed and experimental thrash metal and they have impressively demonstrated with the last two albums! A "Supercharger" does not detract from this fact!
