Well, so it can run well. I have the Bomann GSP 776 on 08/11/2011 bought - 239, - here on Amazon.
It was important:
- 45 cm width
- Makes good clean
- Must alone can be (ie not built-in unit)
- Not too expensive.
Because this dishwasher has been awarded 94 reviews here at Amazon with 4 star and I had enough time to read my reports from other people, I got a good impression from the outset of the device. Although a few were negative there, but me is the volume of the device regardless of (kitchen has a door.).
When the device was then gelifert (delivery was fast, deadline was met, nothing to complain ...), I have razed down to work and remodeled kitchen (dishwasher was not planned from the start in the kitchen.). Then I have the device installed, connected, with two plates, loaded two glasses and a nice dirty pot. Ideally test run - I thought to myself. I have started the normal program. After about 30 minutes running time the disaster then began.
The Dishwasher beeped extraordinarily long and the "ECO" LED flashing. It was only the noise of the pump to hear that has pumped the water. Permanent. The pump stopped only when I had turned off the dishwasher. Hmmmms - I thought to myself. Times the operating instructions for "malfunction" hit. Aha: Something is leaking, running out, or something like that. I am mackerel with the torch around the unit, but discovered no leaks. So I thought, well, the first contact with the machine. Let's see what it does tomorrow. I have switched off the device then left until the next day. Same game, same result.
Then I had a choice - Fernabsatzgesetz thank: 14 Days Return Policy. But before I return the dishwasher, I wanted to talk to the technical hotline and ask if this problem occurs more often in this model. The technician or the man on the phone told me that I could reset the device, press 60 seconds on start-stop button, take unit from the mains, wait two hours re-try. He also told me that this device is not very prone to malfunction. Great, I thought, then I can still try.
Tried to reset device, press after 65 seconds has not told me the device, if I have it now reset, or not. But anyway, I thought. If already hinhauen somehow. Does not it though. After three hours, the third attempt. Result can imagine :(
So I decided to have the unit repaired NOT, but withdraw from the purchase. These settlement worked with Amazon flawlessly and quickly.
Now I'm richer by two experiences:
- With Amazon makes shopping even more fun when you times has problems with a product.
- If you want to play it safe, you put 100, - on it, and buys NEN Siemens, or the like.
I have now bought a new dishwasher, Siemens, for 100, - more. The unit is quieter, has other seals (really better), is essential (!!!) more stable (The front door of the Bomann warped and no longer closes properly, if you do not really align the device precisely with the rotary feet.), And has an Aqua stop with this - not the Bomann! Siemens provides with not only a AquaStop but an electronically controlled valve directly at the terminal. Really good ...
To summarize:
I could not really test the Bomann. He perhaps came with an error directly from the factory to me. Maybe yes. But inasmuch as it is the first dish I've connected, I close times mistake on my part of, or consider them unlikely (The Siemens runs perfectly :).
Ultimately, it is up to you which machine he buys. Probably others have fewer problems with the device (see the countless positive reviews here.). With me not Hats hingehauen.
