Congratulations Sean Paul, you are finally arrived in the mainstream pool. I still had the hope that an artist as he remains at least halfway faithful and the pabulum withdraws to time I could live quite well with "Got 2 Luv U" in spite of the recent features and releases. It is certainly not the case that I find bad music, just because she's mass appeal. For me, mainstream and quality exclude under any circumstances. However, I had several occasions to consider actually beschallen whose work my ears just when listening to this album. Pitbull? Taio Cruz? Flo Rida? Snoop Dogg? Usher? Or was it Sean Paul, the former great dancehall artist who just so always filled a gap that remained mostly closed to the general public? To shorten it, if not Sean Paul would have been on the cover, I would have the question can not be answered. This CD sounds namely from start to finish like now every other song, which is played in the clubs. Unit Beats, Autotune and feel-good lyrics make me after 5 minutes for an overstimulation of the ear. Successful it may be that indeed confirm the current chart positions of singles.
But for my taste this album lacks any uniqueness and class - of a change to mention. I want no one else to offend, but I connect with this music is primarily a target group under 20 years old, listening to this music in their first disco visits and thereby thinks she's the center of the universe. Almost surprisingly, the feature list is busy so thin - a few collaborations with the protagonists mentioned above - first and foremost, of course, David Guetta - have the mass appeal surely enhanced.
Thus remains a work to which will probably remember in 2 years no longer. Too bad, Sean Paul.
