As a result, I have my 60D left for the last long journeys without car at home and only one travel bag with my little PowerShot S95 mitgenommen.Eine great little camera. But it's a shame not take an EOS 60D.
The Passport Sling has been praised because it is probably seen as a new form of far combination of camera bag with "Krambeutel". Now I have it for a few days and I can understand the enthusiasm. It weighs with padded photo Einstz barely 500 g and offers outside of the insert much usable Platz.Es are just some slight concerns that have been mentioned more often, but some can be avoided.
- Biggest issue in the more than 140 Amazon USRezensionen is whether the bag looks so feminine, that a man be ashamed of her. Seems an intra-American problem, my wife and acquaintances say: not a problem in Europe.
- It is sometimes argued that one could accommodate his DSLR with 2 lenses, flash, battery and charger in the padded insert. Only if by magic! My EOS 60D with EF-S 15-85 mm and spare battery fills the insert out completely. There are just comfortably accommodate the strap and the lens hood. But I want more for reasons of weight anyway drag - and still more versatile than a compact S95. Who still wants to take more lenses, flash etc., the well in the unpadded "Krambeutel" if these parts are protected. To bolster the entire bag, the weight would have increased.
- The side pockets are criticized. True, they are not sure. However, it has still 2 compartments inside (not the mini-pockets for phone, etc.) that I have seen mentioned anywhere. They are the side of the photo insert, below the Velcro straps that hold the Fotoeisatz. Not intended as a fan, but work very well as such. In the open side pockets on one side, I folded polyethylene trash bags. Why? - See next paragraph.
- The big mystery: what is a recognized and respected leader thinks for professional camera bags, to design a bag that is closed with a completely exposed and uncovered zip right over the camera compartment? There were probably not the people at work who have the fabulous Lowepro AW (All Weather) designed Us pockets with hidden zippers and integrated rain cover. During the open side pockets are still excusable, it is this zipper as irrigation system for the bag content mE not after. Therefore, please plenty of trash bags in the side pockets (the bag in rain cover) - as unworthy! One star deduction is still merciful for this fiasco.
But otherwise a really great bag for the small holiday equipment plus travel essentials.
