Where is the licorice flavor?

Am I mistaken, or I can say that the "classic" have a different recipe?
As licorice lover I miss the taste of licorice.
When you chew tastes already been a hint of licorice,
but sometimes you have that you chew on fade "rubber parts" feel.
The taste was better a few years ago.
