Short for order / delivery itself:
I ordered this projector in UK as significantly cheaper. It should be noted here is that only the power cord so supplied for German outlets is the EU standard sockets no use - but is not so tragic, because the port on the projector is the standard power supply for example, computer, and probably now each one too many at home has lying around. Delivery from UK took 5 working days.
The package includes:
The projector itself, remote control, 2 shutter glasses, Mini USB to USB Cable 0.5m for charging the glasses, cloth bag for glasses, power cord.
My behavior:
I am using the projector as a kind of TV replacement, so it runs this ca 2-5h with me on the day and although the normal - mode ie not in energy saving mode, but here (as the previous speaker mentioned) the fan is inaudible, as are the fan of my satellite receiver or the PS4 is noisier, and this even though I sit almost directly under the projector and the above-mentioned reproducing apparatus itself but 4 meters.
Image:
To this end, I can only say it is brilliant, OK in this price range was expected for this already, but it has torn me at the first time of the socks, have indeed previously only had a 720p Benq projector in use, but the difference is awesome , Unfortunately I can not test directly comparing the image between different projectors, but can with certainty say that the Sony VPL-HW55ES example can match absolutely with a 3 month old LG plasma TV so the picture Technical equivalent.
ANSI lumens:
Despite the "low" ANSI lumens has a very good image even when exposed to light. Explanation of this by an expert: Sony calibrated the equipment from home we are not like other manufacturers provide the true example 2400 ANSI lumens, but with proper calibration only 2000, - 2200 ANSI lumens come out. - Maybe this is just the Bla Bla, but the picture is really good in daylight)
3D:
One of the selling points was the "new" 3D technology failed images are avoided when. Unfortunately am one of those who have been in the 3D movies in the cinema get a headache, this is absolutely not the case here, (as shutter glasses, or new technology? No matter, no headache!) I just tried it several 3D movies and am not disappointed, the image or 3D Efekt was good every time. Unfortunately, there is nevertheless something to complain about, but is Sony Typical: Sony used IR for communication between projectors and glasses, thus unfortunately from time to glitches in the spectacle - but resolved after a head movement immediately - but still annoying, but can be solved with additional hardware.
What is still a bit annoying that the 2D / 3D switching mechanism, which does not always work but (may be due to my playback device, with eg PS3 is automatically switched between 2D and 3D. But if I with my satellite receiver is in TV or the hard disk To play a 3D movie, the setting must be changed manually. (Used Sat Receiver is a VU + Duo))
Pro / Con:
+++ Image
+++ Fan volume
--- Price of the projector and replacement lamps and accessories
--- Missing settings such as Picture in Picture (but I already knew before buying)
Unfortunately --- CEC control not working as well as usual eg Bravia Sync
Conclusion:
Would buy the projector immediately again, the fan volume is indescribable quiet familiar from other Beamer'n unfortunately quite different. The picture is also sensational. Can enumerate here have 1000 things why I decided for this device but the biggest differences with other Beamer'n available in the price range were called.
I hope you can appreciate with my vote the device bit better, for questions I am of course happy to help.
