I have certainly dispense with the guarantee, although still 2 months would have been. I think that also has factored the Geha and can thus refer to it as a disposable product. Many will want to save the job with warranty-claim, shipping etc. for the 20.
For me it was sometimes interesting to unscrew the unit and to look why it refused because (so) the service. About one of the many little screw (Made in China, who would have guessed it) was a "quality check successful" seal (QC Passed), so I this label (and thus also the guarantee) had to destroy first.
I have now bought the Genie 650 XCD. Let's see how long it will last. Maybe it's here too plastic cogs included, but I will only examine, though this unit should stop working ;-)
In short: For 20 Ok, but not if you're looking for something a little more than 2 years to keep (if, like me, is casual Shredder). For frequent users absolutely not recommended.
