Caveat: I can not understand a lot of people who have heard the album 2-3, and then write a review. Really good music almost always needs a while to Listen-. It happens not often that a song from the start like and then after 10-15 times hear begins to annoy? How wonderful, then, that it is the other way around in the new Coldplay album. After listening to the first few times I was skeptical, but after 10 times I was thrilled and so it went many other well too! To Album: Coldplay has consistently developed and has remained faithful to its founding principles. The instruments come out much stronger and back Chris Martin's beautiful voice a little in the background, which is a bit of getting used to compared to the previous albums. The old songs were in the verses only partially song and maybe a little piano, so that you could better "immersion" a little in the melancholy of the song. While songs like "Fix You" and "What if" begin similar, but are much faster then what I personally feel pretty good. The songs are still full of energy, melodic and yet very gentle, even if no longer so fragile (as another reviewer wrote fits), such as "Trouble". Coldplay is now positive, motivating and cheerful than before, it had the melancholy course a little soft. After almost hear 100 times I venture to say that there is no comparable to super hit "The Scientist" or "Yellow", but really all the songs are super nice and the album is totally rounded. Everything goes wonderfully into one another and thus can be of "Square One" to "Til Kingdom Come" enjoy really beautiful music without once touching the remote control! For preview I recommend: What if, White Shadows, Fix You, Talk and X & Y. Conclusion: A bit worse than the over album "A Rush of Blood to the Head", but anyway clearly five stars because it is the best thing that came in my opinion in the last 12 months on the market!
