Then the eldest went to school, the second baby arrived, and colds chained themselves. Tired of the nose either permanently with baby flies to oral intake (they are still struggling, it was the horror), and especially tired of getting sick every time since I caught all their germs by snuffing them, I decided to invest in an electric baby nose. Without much conviction, but I wanted to test anyway.
Well, I really regret not having done it before!
So the child's nose is washed beforehand with a physiological saline pipette or saltwater spray, which is much the opposite nostril mouth as recommended in the instructions, and finally we leave the device on for at least 5 seconds: it works wonderfully!
I see only positive sides:
- It is a very light noise that does not scare the kids (my 3 month old baby still and lets himself go quietly as it was before the war). Suction is very smooth but effective nonetheless.
- It sucks carefree all mucus, just look for the tank after the note (by cons I only use the tip for thick secretions, the other did not seem very useful to me)
- It is easy to clean
As it is possible to purchase additional caps separately, each child to its tip lot to him.
In short, we are very satisfied and baby too :)
EDIT after several months of use: still satisfied. The suction losses that may occur are due to the fact that the device was incorrectly reassembled after cleaning (silicone seal misplaced, thus sealing loss). Once everything back in place he longs as the first day!
